The Silver Knights took on the Blues on Wednesday at Muzzy Field. The Game was tied for just one inning before the Blues started to run away with this one. Bristol scored 6 runs in their 8 innings at the dish, the biggest being a 7 run inning in the 5th inning. The only Silver Knight pitcher able to hold Bristol without an earned run was catcher Jack Arend (Bates).
In the other dugout, the Silver Knight offense couldn't get anything going at all. The only two hits of the ballgame came off the bats of Billy Butler (URI) and Mike La Rocca (SNHU). This lends itself to a 14-0 final score down in Connecticut.
The Knights will look to bounce back on Thursday at home against the last place Westfield Starfires. Nashua is still just 3.5 games out of first place and 2 games out from having a home playoff game in the first round.
