Knights Take Down Rox Again

Riding last night’s victory over the Brockton Rox, the Nashua Silver Knights met their

opponent for the second night in a row with confidence and fervor — and racked up a 10–2
win.
The game featured strong hitting to bring the Knights to their second win over the Rox so far
this season. Daniel O’Connor #16 pitched 4 1/3 innings, with no hits, three walks, and seven
strikeouts. Taking over, Spencer Bergeron #39 had three strikeouts, Jarrod Norcrosse
Plourde and Jimmy Fahey #17 both had two, setting the table for Derek Goldrick #27, who ended the game for the
Knights by striking out the side.
Powerful hitting allowed the Knights a strong and steady lead over the Rox. The fifth inning
showcased this, as Jared Dupere #18 hit a double with two RBIs, Benjamin Cowles #1 hit an
RBI double, and Ben Irvine #8 brought in another two RBIs. In the sixth, Jack Arend #4
smashed a double to bring three runners home — and bringing his number of RBIs for the
night up to 5.
Tonight’s win brings the Silver Knights to an 8–8 record. They will be back at Holman for
another round against the North Shore Navigators at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, June 20.
