Knights No-Hit in LossThe Silver Knights suffered their second loss in a row last night as they traveled down to Worcester to take on the Bravehearts. Offense was tough to come by as Worcester sent four different pitchers to the bump to keep the Knights hitless throughout the contest. Worcester was led by Shawn Babineau of Springfield who started the game and went 6 strong, striking out 8, 1 base on balls was his lone miscue.
For Nashua, they were able to scrape across 2 runs (Cowles & Butler), via walks and errors. The Knights struck out a total of 13 times in the ballgame.
The Silver Knights sit 1.5 games back from the top of the standings, they are back in action this Saturday in Lynn, MA to face the North Shore Navigators (1-0) |
