Merrimack: The Warrior arms were once again out to play this past week. Starting in their non-conference matchup vs regional powerhouse Northeastern. LT Pare saw the bump in some relief action against the Huskies, he tossed an inning out of the bullpen, allowing 1 run. In the Conference slate, Timmy Kalantzakos came out of the pen in Game 2 against FDU. He did enough to earn himself the W on the day, going 2 innings and allowing 1 run. In Game 3, it would be righty Jake Thibault that came in to slam the door. He got the old 4 out save to win the series for Merrimack, striking out a batter in the process. The Save was Thibault’s 3rd of the season.
Northeastern: The Huskies keep on rolling along, now on a 9-game winning streak and still undefeated in conference play at 7-0.
