 Northeastern: Wyatt Scotti took the mound for the Huskies for his second start of the season. After coming off a win in his first start, Scotti impressed once again, this time against Albany. Scotti went 4 innings, striking out 7 batters, while allowing just one unearned run. Scotti is now 2-0 on the season and has not allowed an earned run in his 8 innings pitched.


VCU: In a week that consisted of five games for VCU, the first two were against #18 Virginia Tech. The Rams held their own, as did freshman shortstop Connor Hujsak. He registered a hit and a run scored in the 2-game series, while upsetting Virginia Tech in game 2 of the series. Later in the week, they would take on Towson, where Hujsak added two more hits, one of them being a double, as well as a pair of RBIs and 3 runs scored. The Rams took the Series 2-1.


Merrimack: Like Silver Knight teammate Wyatt Scotti, Merrimack pitcher Timmy Kalantzakos also drew a start against Albany. Kalantzakos threw the first inning of the game, allowing 1 run on 1 hit and striking out 2. Merrimack would win the game 14-5. Merrimack’s weekend would consist of a 3-game set with UMass. In game 2 of the series, LT Pare came on for a scoreless relief inning. In game 3, it would be reliever Jake Thibault who shined, going 3 perfect innings out of the bullpen and striking out 2 batters to pick up the save. The Warriors dropped the series to UMass 2 games to 1.


Maryland: The Terps had yet another conference weekend, this time against Rutgers. Matt Orlando saw action in every game of the series over at first base. Orlando recorded 3 hits in the series, one of which was a 2-Run home run. Logan Ott also got the call in the final game of the series and did not waste the opportunity. Ott had a day going 2-3 with a double and a hit by pitch to help lead the Terps to a win and a series split with Rutgers.


Elon: The Phoenix had a strong showing this past weekend as they took 2 of 3 games from North Carolina A&T. Tristan Corcoran saw another relief appearance in game 3 of series, tossing 1.2 innings and allowing 2 runs on 2 hits. Elon improved their season record to 5-8 on the season.


Palm Beach Atlantic: Having played one of the toughest schedules so far in Division II baseball, it did not get any easier as PBA squared off against #3 Tampa. Although the Sailfish were swept in the series, shortstop Sean Houck was able to tack on 2 hits and came around to score.


Saint Joseph’s (ME): Division III baseball kicked off this weekend and pitcher George Welch wasted no time getting his call to action. Welch got the ball to start opening day for the Monks, he went 2 scoreless innings against Eastern Nazarene without allowing a hit and struck out 3 batters, earning the win to start the season. Welch would see action against Eastern Nazarene again later in the week, this time picking up the loss out of the bullpen. Saint Joseph’s went 2-3 in their opening week of the season.


Nichols: 2020 Champion Robbie Cobb got his first action this past weekend against Mitchell College. Cobb went 0.2 innings out of the bullpen, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits. The Bison would be swept in their opening series of the season.
