Keene SwampBats and Nashua Silver Knights Announce Granite State Showdown

NASHUA, NH / KEENE, NH — The Keene SwampBats and the Nashua Silver Knights are excited to announce the Granite State Showdown, a two-game exhibition series bringing together the only two summer collegiate baseball teams in the state of New Hampshire.

The Granite State Showdown will feature the state’s most iconic summer baseball franchises, with the SwampBats representing the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) and the Silver Knights representing the Futures League. The series will celebrate elite collegiate baseball while showcasing the best of New Hampshire’s baseball tradition.

The opening game will be played at Holman Stadium in Nashua on Monday, July 13, with first pitch scheduled for 6:03 p.m. The series will conclude with a rematch at Alumni Field in Keene on Tuesday, July 28, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Both games will feature rosters filled with some of the top collegiate players in the nation, including many of New Hampshire’s finest, giving fans the opportunity to see high-level talent compete in a special inter-league exhibition setting.

The matchup also highlights the championship pedigree of both organizations. The SwampBats have captured six NECBL Championships, while the Silver Knights have earned six Futures League Championships. The SwampBats enter their 29th season, while the Silver Knights begin their 16th season of competition.
