Ryan Sullivan (’13–’17) & Cam Cook (’16–’17) Headed to the Futures League Hall of Fame!

Former teammates and two-time champions, Sullivan and Cook both left remarkable legacies with the Silver Knights and now take their place among the Futures League’s all-time greats.

Ryan Sullivan

Few names appear in the Futures League record book as often as Ryan Sullivan. A Nashua Silver Knight from 2013–17, Sullivan played in a league-record 185 regular-season and 17 postseason games. The Southern New Hampshire University product is the league’s all-time leader in career at-bats (682), RBI (145), hits (199), total bases (351), and doubles (41). He also ranks second in home runs (37) and extra-base hits (78), and third in runs scored (109), finishing with a .515 slugging percentage and .874 OPS.

A four-time All-Star, Sullivan was a driving force on Nashua’s back-to-back championship teams in 2016 and 2017. He earned Postseason MVP honors in 2016 after hitting .444 with two homers, eight RBI, and five runs scored in six games, including a game-tying blast in the first championship matchup. He still holds Futures League playoff records for RBI (20), hits (25), and total bases (42).

Cam Cook

Now the Silver Knights’ general manager, Cam Cook made his mark first as a standout infielder during the final two summers of his playing career at Nichols College. He was instrumental in Nashua’s 2016 and 2017 championship runs, hitting .378 with 107 hits in 75 career regular-season games.

In 2017, Cook authored one of the greatest single seasons in league history: 81 hits in 50 games — still the Futures League record. He led the league with a .397 batting average, added a .442 on-base percentage, and drove in 30 runs, trailing only Sullivan among Nashua hitters. A First-Team All-Futures League selection at third base, Cook also delivered two-hit performances in both games of the 2016 finals.

Since transitioning into the front office, Cook has continued building on that success. In six years as GM, he’s led Nashua to two more championships and was named the 2020 William J. Terlecky Executive of the Year.
