Just when it looked like the streak might end — the Silver Knights had other plans.

Electrically, Nashua traveled to Norwich and took down the Sea Unicorns with a hard-fought 6-4 win on the road. The comeback kids kept the momentum rolling and extended their red-hot win streak, showing once again why they’re one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

The pitching in this one was again great for the Knights as Andrew Chenevert got the ball. Chenevert was dealing all night as he minimized runners on base and got timely outs. His final line on the day was 5 IP on 1 H with 3 K. Chenevert gave the Knights a great start however the bullpen would struggle following him.

For the bats, they also struggled to start the game as Frank Spirito started the game for Norwich and went three innings of no run ball. The Knights offense however would put the first runs on the board in the 6th as Joe Zorc from Princeton would single in a run to start the scoring. The Knights would also add on as Joey Current would walk with the bases loaded making the score 2-0 Knights.

In the 7th the bats would keep pounding as Jake Haarde would continue his hot few games as he launched a ball over the fence for a home run. Ernie Little would also score on the Haarde home run. Then in the 8th River Hart would get going as he doubled to left to drive in a runner making the score 5-0 Knights.

In the bottom half of the frame, the Unicorns got one run, cutting the deficit to four. The Knights struck again in the final inning, pushing their lead back to five on a wild pitch.

The final three outs in this one were very hard for the Knights to get as Norwich would load the bases multiple times. They would end up scoring three runs in the inning however it was not enough in the end as the Knights held on. Nashua will be back in action tomorrow on the road they will look for their lucky number seventh straight victory.
