The boys were back in action on Tuesday night, looking to bounce back after a loss that snapped their six-game win streak. The Knights faced off against the Westfield Starfires, who currently sit at the bottom of the Futures League standings. Nashua however couldn’t find their rhythm despite battling hard and ultimately fell short, dropping the game 6–2.

This game had some back-and-forth action however it was one big inning that propelled Westfield to the win. The Knights starter would have a solid start as Tommy Flaherty was able to give them five innings of work. Flaherty would get into some trouble however early in the game as he gave up two runs to put Westfield on the board in the bottom of the second.

The Knights offense responded however as in the 3rd James Benestad would single in River hart to make the game 2-1 Westfield. Westfield kept adding onto their lead as this was a theme in the game as Cole Silvia would double in a run in the 4th.

Nashua would draw closer as Cole Patterson would drive in a run in the 6th to make the score 3-2 Starfires. However, following that moment it would be all downhill for Nashua. The relief following Flaherty had a tough time as Robby Roth let up three runs without recording an out which would put this one on ice and give Westfield a big victory.

There were big lines in this game as the Westfield starter in Jake Jachym went seven innings while only giving up two runs to the Knights on the day. Six different Knights tallied a hit in the loss however it was just not enough in the end as they only pushed two runs across.
