Suns Trounce Knights

The Silver Knights traveled down to Pittsfield with a fresh set of arms and looking to make a push up the standing before the All Star break rolls around. Newly acquired Cooper Anibal got the start for Nashua, but would quickly take his lumps as he was only able to go 3.1 innings, giving up 6, and striking out 3. Another new acquisition, Shaun Cormier came in to relieve the situation, but saw similar results as he went 1.1 innings and gave up 2.

The Suns tallied atleast 1 run in all but 2 innings, never giving Nashua a chance to crawl back. The Silver Knights saw some offense, one being off the bat of Connor Blandini as he hit a solo shot over the right field wall. Jones and Walsh also tallied some RBIs of their own.

The Knights fall another game back of first place, now 3.5 games. They will take on the Brockton Rox at Holman Saturday at 6:05pm
