Suns Offense Powers Past KnightsTonight’s game at Holman Stadium ended with a 11–5 loss for the Nashua Silver Knights at the hands of the Pittsfield Suns.
Knights pitcher Jimmy Fahey #17 struck out two Suns players while leaving two runners on
base, and pitcher Jack Pawloski #31 had a 1-2-3 inning in the fifth. Billy Butler #43 hit an
eighth-inning home run for the Silver Knights — his first of the season — but this hitting
power wasn’t enough as Pittsfield dominated play.
Pittsfield reigned over the field with four runs in the sixth inning and another three in the
seventh.
The next Silver Knights game is at 10:30 a.m. June 12 in
Brockton, Massachusetts. |
